The town’s annual holiday season luminary display will take place next Saturday from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Under the supervision of the Kingston Fire Department, designated streets will be lined with luminary candles, and certain side streets will be closed to traffic. The tree lighting and caroling on the Town Green begin around 6 p.m. Open houses will take place at the nearby churches and the Fire Department’s Surprise Hose House until 8:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to donate baked goods can drop them off at the Pembroke Street Fire Station on Saturday, and volunteers for setting up before the festivities, or cleaning up after, are being sought. For information, contact fire Captain David Currier or Firefighter Joseph Gibbons at the fire station at 781-585-0532.
