The annual town election is still several months away, but two selectmen whose terms are set to expire in spring have already announced they won’t be seeking reelection. Chairman Alfred Rullo said he previously had “every intention of running again,” but an opportunity arose that means moving to another community. “I’m putting my house up for sale,” he said. Selectman Steven Spataro told his fellow board members at a recent meeting that upcoming changes in his job requirements will make it difficult for him to attend the board’s Monday evening meetings. Prospective candidates can draw their nomination papers for local office beginning Jan. 3, according to Town Clerk Allison Ferreira. This year’s election is set for April 6.
