Police seek help breaking break-ins

Police are asking the public to report anything suspicious following a series of residential break-ins. Since mid-November, there have been nine daytime break-ins in East Walpole and North Walpole, according to Deputy Police Chief John Carmichael. He asked that residents call if they see anything out of the ordinary, such as unfamiliar cars or unfamiliar people with backpacks or bicycles. “We’ve flooded those areas with extra patrols and have stopped people to let them know the breaks are occurring, basically giving us those extra eyes on the street,” Carmichael said. He said police have no clues or suspects and need the public’s help to catch the culprits. Anyone with information can call police at 508-668-1212.
