Signs of respect


Motorists stopped at intersections throughout town this fall have had a chance to read dedications to Rockland’s military heroes, thanks to the Fallen Hero Street Sign Project of the town’s Veterans Council. Signs memorializing the 53 Rockland natives who died in service to the country were placed throughout town, and brochures listing them are available at Town Hall. The Highway Department assisted in the project.
