The Traffic Commission has implemented wintertime parking restrictions, with scofflaws facing fines and possible towing. The restrictions are in effect from midnight to 7 a.m. and run through April 1. Parking is prohibited on the even-numbered side of all streets, except those already restricted to one side of parking. On some roads, including Main and Montello streets,   no parking is allowed on either side. If a snow emergency is declared, there is no parking on any street.
