Volunteers needed for superintendent search

The School Committee is seeking volunteers to take part in the search for a new school superintendent. Participants will take part in meetings, school visits, and interviews of potential candidates. An e-mail describing interest and qualifications can be sent to School Committee Chairwoman Libby Corbo at lcorbo@hanoverschools.org. Members of the School Committee recently agreed not to use a consultant to search for a superintendent to replace Kristine Nash, who retired on Nov. 2. Retired Woburn Superintendent of Schools Carl Batchelder has been hired to serve out the year before a new school chief begins.
