The committee searching for a new Norton school superintendent selected four finalists last week after interviewing candidates in executive session. The finalists are: Joseph Baeta, Holbrook superintendent of schools; Bonny Gifford, Nauset assistant superintendent of schools; Allen Himmelberger, Oxford superintendent of schools; and Patricia Lally, Tewksbury assistant superintendent of schools. Public interviews with the School Committee are expected to take place in early January. The interim superintendent has been Chris Martes, a former superintendent in Foxborough.
