Kathy and Phillip Greene have been decorating their house since 1980. They call it “Walkhill Wonderland” and say it’s gotten bigger and bigger over the years. The decorating process causes some spats, Kathy said, because Phillip has a very specific vision of how he wants everything arranged. Their 21-year-old son, Brenden, recently came home from military service and was just in time to help decorate. “I wish I could’ve come back a week later so I wouldn’t have had to help,” he said with a laugh. Kathy said the electric bill increases a lot, so they’ve started to switch over to LED lights. “I can’t imagine,’’ she said, “what the reaction would be from others if we stopped decorating.”
