Housing rehab, past and future

All the housing-rehabilitation projects funded through the Carver-Halifax Community Development Block Grant awarded two years ago have been completed, and the two communities are working on another joint application. The new effort is intended to continue housing rehabilitation and possibly add a daycare subsidy component. As part of the application process, Halifax will hold a public forum at 8:15 p.m., Jan. 8, in the selectmen's meeting room at Town Hall. For more information, contact Town Administrator Charlie Seelig at 781-294-1316.
