Paul Beukema, of the AARP, will offer a presentation at 1 p.m. Jan. 10 at the senior center on King Philip Street covering the state’s tax credit program for income-eligible residents 65 years old and older. “This is something we do every year to give seniors a heads-up,” the town’s Council on Aging director, Elizabeth Moura, said. “This gets the information out to people, since many don’t even know about the tax credit program or that they qualify.” The presentation is a prelude to the help sessions on income tax filings that the senior center provides beginning in February.
