Resident wins $1 million lottery


Canton resident Larry King has won a $1 million prize from the state lottery’s Billion Dollar Bonanza, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery. King claimed the prize on Dec. 24, and will receive payments of $50,000, minus taxes, over 20 years. He told lottery officials he might buy a new car. The $20 winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven at 504 Washington St., and the store will get a $10,000 commission on the sale.
