The deadline for the Freetown-Lakeville Early Childhood Center program is Jan. 25. The program for 3- and 4-year-old children has been expanded in recent years from two classrooms to four, and no longer relies on a lottery for entry, said Jennifer Seaberg, assistant to the director of special education. The program runs four days a week and is integrated with special-needs students. Seaberg said the program features supervised, age-appropriate activities, and some children start friendships that last through their public school years.
