Eight Randolph residents will be publicly interviewed at the Town Council meeting on the second floor of Town Hall at 7 p.m. Monday for the newly vacant seat on the School Committee. The successful candidate will be chosen by the School Committee and Town Council to complete the term vacated by Larry Azer, which expires in 2014. The School Committee is also searching for a successor to Superintendent Oscar Santos, who has said he will not seek a new contract when his current one expires in June. The committee will begin evaluating candidates for superintendent after the Thursday deadline for applications has passed.
