Selectman Robert Kimball, who is in his 18th year and sixth term on the board, said he plans to seek another term in the April 30 election. Asked about his plans for 2013, Kimball said the town needs to fix infrastructure problems such as makeshift office spaces and 1979 carpeting in Town Hall. Police staffing remains at the same level as in the early 1990s, he said, and the Council on Aging has not had a director in several years. “It’s always about where the money’s going to come from,” he said. Selectman Robert Salvo is also up for re-election, as are members of the Board of Assessors, Housing Authority, Planning Board, School Committee, and Water/Sewer Commission.
