Assuming there is enough snow on the ground, the public is invited to an evening of moonlit cross-country skiing or snowshoeing at Adams Farm on Jan. 26. Participants will meet at 7 p.m. at the barn for about two hours of skiing on a trail through woods and meadow under a full moon, if the sky’s not clouded over. All levels of cross-country skiers are welcome, although some experience would be helpful. There’s no charge for this event, which is organized by Gary Riggott, the head of the Walpole Trails Committee.
