Assuming there is enough snow on the ground, the public is invited to an evening of moonlit cross-country skiing or snowshoeing at Adams Farm on Jan. 26. Participants will meet at 7 p.m. at the barn for about two hours of skiing on a trail through woods and meadow under a full moon, if the sky’s not clouded over. All levels of cross-country skiers are welcome, although some experience would be helpful. There’s no charge for this event, which is organized by Gary Riggott, the head of the Walpole Trails Committee. If the conditions are questionable, check with him at email@example.com or 508-451-0905. Adams Farm is located at 999 North St.
