The town is looking for a company that would lease town property — the roof of the Cohasset Middle High School and/or the closed municipal landfill — and build a solar energy array there. Companies have until Jan. 30 to submit a proposal for the project, which would supply electrical energy to the town. The town’s Alternative Energy Committee has been working with selectmen and the School Committee to develop the solar-energy plan, which would involve leasing the town-owned property for 20 years.
