The Plymouth County Beekeepers Association will offer its annual bee school, beginning tonight and running through April on alternating Thursdays at the Pembroke Community Center on Center Street. Sign-ups are from 6 to 6:45 p.m., and the first class will follow at 7 p.m. Sessions run from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost for enrollment is $50, whether for an individual or a whole family, and it includes books and all other material. Past president David Hayden said the Plymouth County Beekeepers Association has offered its school, which covers all aspects of beekeeping, every winter for “probably 20 years,” and interest has recently been on the rise. “Numerous years ago, we’d have 12 to 25 take the course,” Hayden said. “The last few years it’s been up to 100.” For more information, call 781-749-3032 or visit www.plymouthcountybeekeepers.org.
