Kids cooking class: Kids Cooking Green will hold Pasta Making 101 at the Children’s Museum in Easton on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Kids in grades 2-5 will be able to make raviolis. Each child will go home with a box of homemade pasta and recipes to try at home. Pasta Making 101 is free with admission, but registration is required. Call the museum at 508-230-3789 to register. Open auditions: The Academy of The Company Theatre (ACT) Teen Conservatory will hold auditions for teen actors for its upcoming production of “The Hiding Place: The Story of Corrie ten Boom,” a play by Bradley J. Winkler adapted from the book by John and Elizabeth Sherrill, Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Company Theatre Centre for the Arts. A headshot is helpful but not required. Actors should plan to attend both days of auditions. Performances of “The Hiding Place” will be held on May 10 and 11. Rehearsals are held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the production season. Tuition for the classes and production is $300 per student and is due after casting is announced. Open mike night: Quincy Unplugged will host an open mike night at the Thomas Crane Public Library on Monday. This friendly and informal open mike night is open to all ages and all acts — singing, playing, reciting, acting, joke-telling, etc. One microphone will be available but no other sound equipment is supplied.
