Nine-year School Committee member Dimitria Sullivan will not seek a fourth term, opening up the door to a new candidate. The next School Committee will have to conclude contract negotiations and take another look at the district’s memorandum of understanding with police, which governs how schools and the police handle student misbehavior. “It is a lot of work and has its ups and downs, but there are more ups than downs,” Sullivan said.
