FACTS Coalition pushes for teen programming

The Scituate Families, Adolescents, and Communities Together Against Substances (FACTS) coalition is pushing for more programming to help keep teens out of trouble and away from drugs. “What we hear from teens and from parents of teens . . . is there is nothing to do. We feel it’s important to offer them a safe and supervised activity,” said FACTS cochairwoman Annmarie Galvin. She said the group is working to coordinate volunteers and hopes to enlist sponsors or grant funding for programs.
