The Feb. 12 Special Town Meeting will consider appropriating $125,000 to fund engineering costs for installing a traffic light and making other improvements at the intersection of Route 53 (Washington Street) and Pleasant Street, according to Town Administrator Edwin Thorne. The transportation bond bill adopted by the state Legislature last year authorized $1.3 million for the project.
