Slots open in election

Several positions are up for grabs in the annual town election on April 10. Single positions on the ballot this year are for selectmen, the Board of Assessors, highway surveyor, Board of Health, Cemetery Commission, Park Commission, Rochester Memorial School Committee, Old Rochester Regional School Committee, and Water Commission. There are two seats each on the ballot for constable and Planning Board. The last day for returning signed nomination papers is Feb. 20, and the last day for residents to register to vote is March 21, when the registrar of voters office will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
