Hingham Congregational Church will offer weekly services on Wednesday evenings throughout Lent and is opening its doors to the wider community. “On a daily basis, our lives are so busy the concept of stopping to take a moment for meditation and prayer can be daunting,” said the Rev. Pete Allen, senior pastor at the church. “Lent is a particularly contemplative time, and we wanted to provide an easy option for a deeply meaningful service people could fit into their regular routines.” The services will begin on Ash Wednesday this week through Holy Week from 7:30 to 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.hccucc.com.
