Hall’s Corner requests liquor license

Square Corp., owner of Hall’s Corner Store, has applied for an all-alcohol liquor license, which would make it the fourth store in that part of town to sell alcohol. The license would permit the sale of beer, wine, and alcoholic spirits. The store would continue to sell convenience items, as well as lottery and Keno tickets. The town denied a beer and wine liquor license in 1998 to Hall’s, saying there were enough existing stores in the area that sold alcohol.
