Four companies have submitted bids to build solar arrays on two town-owned properties: the closed town landfill and the roof of Cohasset Middle High School. The plan calls for the town to buy electricity generated from the solar arrays at a discounted rate, and get a share of profits from power sold to the commercial electrical grid. Officials say they are reviewing the proposals and plan to interview the companies the week of March 11. The schedule calls for awarding a contract on April 26, according to the selectmen’s office.
