Summer Institute seeks program ideas

The School Department’s Summer Institute, an athletic and enrichment program for kindergarteners through eighth-graders, is looking for course proposals. Teachers, parents, senior citizens, and college students are welcome to submit proposals on subjects ranging from arts and crafts, to cooking, dance, sports, foreign languages, and math. The pay scale for instructors is $12 to $35 per hour, depending on education, experience, and the proposed offering.
