Even after their deaths, two former Dedham teachers will be supporting local students. Donald and Ann Corcoran, who died about a month apart in the winter of 2011, left $575,000 to the Dedham public schools for college scholarships, Superintendent June Doe told School Committee members at a recent meeting. Both were teachers at the former Dedham Junior High School, and many in the community had them for wood shop, home economics, and printing. “They certainly were career educators,” Doe said.
