Those interested in researching their family trees may attend a genealogy workshop at the Hanson Public Library, at 7 p.m. next Tuesday and 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23. During the sessions, Patty Norton, of Plymouth County Genealogists Inc., will offer her expertise on how to research one’s family history. After Norton’s presentation, library staff will introduce the facility’s ancestry.com database, review other genealogical sites, and share books available on the subject. Prior signup is required. Call 781-293-2151 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. The program is being funded with a grant through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
