Charges pending against W. Bridgewater quarterback

The case against a West Bridgewater high school student involved in a Nov. 30 crash on Forest Street is moving forward. Christopher Cormier, the cocaptain and quarterback of the West Bridgewater Middle-Senior High School football team, is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Brockton District Court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a junior operator’s license violation. The crash injured three teenagers from Bridgewater and West Bridgewater, including 17-year-old Cormier.
