Scituate

Discussion on Cliff Hotel

Pamela Lind McCullum and Nancy Murray Young will host a discussion March 3 about the historic Scituate Cliff Hotel and their book, “Memories of the Cliff Hotel.” The pair has been compiling stories from people who visited the hotel, which sat in an iconic spot in Minot before burning to the ground in 1974. The book “became exactly what we wanted it to be, and that’s memories of the Cliff Hotel,” Murray Young said. She added that the authors hope the public will share their own memories of the hotel, and that the authors will talk about the process of writing the book. The discussion will take place at Scituate Town Library at 2 p.m.
