Selectmen to decide on new town planner and health agent

Selectmen interviewed finalists for the jobs of town planner and health agent last week and plan to decide who will get those jobs Tuesday, according to Town Administrator Randall Buckner. “They’ll do the usual background and reference checks before the meeting,” he said. Top candidates for the town planner position are Blair Haney, Peabody’s assistant planning director, and Raymond Goff, town planner for Glocester, R.I. Finalists for health agent are Lakeville Health Agent Lawrence Perry and Wareham Health Inspector David Flaherty. Buckner said each position attracted about 20 applicants.
