Town elections could be moved

Selectmen at this Tuesday’s meeting will vote on whether to push back town elections to coincide with the April 30 primary election for the US Senate seat formerly held by John Kerry. Rockland town elections usually take place the second Saturday in April. Town Administrator Allan Chiocca said holding both elections on the same day could save the town as much as $10,000. Residents are encouraged to attend the 7 p.m. Board of Selectmen meeting to voice their opinions.
