Selectmen race heats up

Four candidates will be vying for two seats on the Board of Selectmen in the town election on April 2. Incumbents Cara Ann Winslow and Stephen Holmes will be seeking reelection against challengers Frank DeFelice and Patrick Tropeano, according to the Wareham town clerk’s office. Judith Whiteside will also be on the ballot for selectman, but she’ll be running unopposed: Whiteside was the only candidate to return papers for the one-year term left open by former selectwoman Ellen Begley’s resignation, the town clerk’s office said.
