Free lecture: Discover the Eastern brook trout, renowned with sport fishermen, which has dwindled in population due to habitat alteration. Mass Fish and Wildlife’s Southeast District Fisheries manager, Steve Hurley, will share his knowledge of the history of the native brook trout, local restoration efforts, and how researchers are using DNA and fish tagging to track their recovery.
