Pembroke

Selectman not seeking reelection

Selectman Greg Hanley has decided not to seek reelection at the annual town election next month. The first-term selectman, who is currently the board’s chairman, said he opted against another run due to the time demands from his role as a Plymouth County commissioner, a seat he won last November. “I love Pembroke and have given [the town] 10 years of my life, but after talking with my wife we felt it was time to give someone else a shot,” said Hanley, who has endorsed Daniel Taylor’s bid for the seat. Hanley said he is also not seeking reelection this spring to his seat on the Housing Authority.
