Dedham Shines has given the Mother Brook Arts and Community Center $5,000 that was raised through the Dedham Public Art Project’s 15 fiberglass rabbits, which were displayed around town last year and then auctioned off for charity. The Mother Brook center took over the former Avery Elementary School building at 123 High St. this month, and intends to have tenants move in on April 1. One of the goals of the rabbit project was to support the fledgling arts center, said Dedham Shines co-president Monika Wilkinson. She added that she looks forward to working more with the Mother Brook center.
