Duxbury to continue water fluoridation

Duxbury residents decided at annual Town Meeting to continue adding fluoride to the public water supply. A group of residents called Duxbury Fluoride Choice had proposed an article that requested selectmen to petition the state Legislature to put a question on next year’s ballot, asking if Duxbury should continue to add fluoride to the water. After an hourlong discussion last Monday, residents voted against the article, and the town will continue to put fluoride in its water.
