The public is invited to weigh in at a meeting Wednesday to discuss plans to revitalize the Main Street area of North Easton Village. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at Frothingham Hall, 15 Barrows St. There, town staff and representatives from BETA Engineering Group will answer questions and get input on plans for streetscape enhancements, pedestrian and parking improvements, new lighting, and the removal of overhead wires. Town officials said they hope to finalize plans for the project over the coming months. This is the latest in a series of projects aimed at revitalizing the village area and will complement such initiatives as the redevelopment of the historic Ames Shovel Works and a new wastewater treatment plant. The project is funded in part by a $1 million MassWorks Infrastructure grant.
