Selectman candidates debate

Candidates running for the town’s two contested seats for selectman are scheduled to meet in a televised debate on Wednesday. It will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. on Wareham Community Television (WCTV) on Comcast Channel 9 and Verizon Channel 30. The candidates will field questions from a panel of newspaper reporters, and residents can e-mail their questions to (WCTV asks that you include your name and address along with your question. Personal information will not be mentioned on the air.) There are four candidates, competing for two seats: Frank DeFelice, Stephen M. Holmes, Patrick Tropeano, and Cara Ann Winslow. Both are three-year terms. Judith Whiteside will also be on the election ballot, running unopposed for a one-year term. The town election will be held April 2.
