Candidates running for the town’s two contested seats for selectman are scheduled to meet in a televised debate on Wednesday. It will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. on Wareham Community Television (WCTV) on Comcast Channel 9 and Verizon Channel 30. The candidates will field questions from a panel of newspaper reporters, and residents can e-mail their questions to debate2013@warehamtv.org. (WCTV asks that you include your name and address along with your question. Personal information will not be mentioned on the air.) There are four candidates, competing for two seats: Frank DeFelice, Stephen M. Holmes, Patrick Tropeano, and Cara Ann Winslow. Both are three-year terms. Judith Whiteside will also be on the election ballot, running unopposed for a one-year term. The town election will be held April 2.
