Public workshop on master plan

The Marshfield Planning Board will host a workshop on Tuesday to gather public opinion as part of the town’s master planning process. This is the second public workshop, and it will focus on community character, a vision of the town’s future, natural resource protection, and open space, according to town planner Paul Halkiotis. The workshop runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Haddad’s Ocean Café in Marshfield. The master plan is intended to guide future policy making on land use, transportation, open space, and other subjects. It is scheduled to be by completed by the end of the year.
