School officials investigating high school arrest

School officials and police are continuing to investigate an incident last month that led to the arrest of a Mansfield High School football player on a count of assault and battery. School Committee chairman Michael Trowbridge said that while disciplinary measures will remain confidential, he is confident that school officials are handling the situation well and in keeping with the town’s anti-bullying policy.
