Adults charged with allowing teen drinking

After an intoxicated teenager at an April 6 house party landed in the hospital, two adults have been charged with providing alcohol to people under 21. Police Captain Michael McDonough said a father went to the police station around 1:30 a.m. to report that his two sons, ages 17 and 19, had attended a birthday party; one ended up in the hospital and was later released. McDonough said the teen’s blood alcohol was more than triple the legal limit of .08 percent. The party took place at the Seth Sprague Drive home of Maria Locke, 52. She and Bradford Locke, 51, of Provincetown, were hosting the party, McDonough said. Officers observed trash bags filled with beer cans and evidence of hard-liquor consumption at the house, he said. The adults received court summonses but were not arrested, he said.
