Medical marijuana vote fails to draw quorum


A Special Town Meeting on a measure to ban medical marijuana dispensaries from moving into town for a year was postponed after it failed to draw a quorum of 100 people last Monday. “In essence, people voted with their feet by not showing up,” said Town Administrator Charlie Seelig. He said voters will take up the measure along with the regular Town Meeting on May 13, just a few days after the state is expected to release its licensing requirements for medical marijuana dispensaries.
