The Council on Aging will host the Community Health Fair on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the town’s Community Building on Jericho Road. The health fair is the second the council has hosted, but the first that will cater to the entire community, said Joanne Ball, who is helping to organize the event. “What they are really trying to do is trying to get the town involved more with seniors,” Ball said. “There has been a great divide.” The gathering is a means to bridge that gap, and will offer blood pressure tests, vision tests, massage, wellness information, Zumba, and health screenings. The Fire Department will be on hand to show parents how to properly install car seats, and there will be raffles and giveaways. Ball said the event is a joint effort of the council and the Board of Health. For more information, e-mail email@example.com.
