Selectmen Tuesday night unanimously voted to appoint David Gagne, the current assistant town administrator of Plainville, to be West Bridgewater’s new administrator. Gagne was one of three finalists selected from a pool of 50 candidates. “While it will be difficult to replace our experienced and very effective town administrator, Beth Faricy, we are confident that David will utilize his varied training and experience to be a successful town administrator for our town,” said Selectman Chairwoman Nancy Maloney. Faricy will retire in June after 21 years in the job.
