At its meeting last Monday, the Board of Selectmen adopted a six-page document developed by the Finance Committee that outlines principles to keep the town in sound financial condition, said Selectman Shawn Dahlen. The document, titled “Financial Management Policies & Objectives,” covers accounting, debt management, trust funds, the general fund, and capital planning for the town. The board also voted to transfer the Winsor House’s liquor license from the Winsor Restaurant Group to the restaurant’s new owners, Modern Family Associates. The new owner’s manager, Alexander S. Marconi, and his relatives also own The Catered Affair.
