Free bus and admission to YMCA


Officials say a new program that’s aimed at giving students something constructive to do on school half-days is working. More than 20 students participated in the YPass program in March, according to Amanda Decker of the Avon Coalition for Every Student (ACES). The program provides free transportation and free admission to the Stoughton branch of the Old Colony YMCA for Avon Middle High School students on half-days. The next half-day is scheduled for May 22, Decker said.
