Lawyer nominated for clerk magistrate

Abington lawyer Donald Hart has been nominated by Governor Deval Patrick to be clerk magistrate for the Nantucket District Court, and was interviewed by the Governor’s Council last Wednesday. Hart graduated New England School of Law in 1999, went on to serve as assistant district attorney in Plymouth County and opened a private law practice in 2004 in Weymouth and Holbrook. The eight members of the Governor’s Council and Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray are scheduled to vote on Hart’s nomination on Wednesday.
