The Board of Selectmen has tapped Bill Boulter to serve as its chairman for the coming year. In its annual post-election meeting, the board also chose Arthur Boyle as vice-chairman and Lew Stone as clerk. Also at the meeting, the board welcomed its newest member, Michelle Burt. In the April 27 annual town election, Burt outpaced two others to fill the seat formerly held by Greg Hanley, who didn’t run for reelection. Boulter is in his second term on the board and served as chairman twice before. He was first elected to the board in 2008, the year he retired after a 44-year tenure with the Police Department that included a year as chief.
