Dr. John Cadigan III is retiring from Norwood Hospital, where he advanced the hospital’s cardiovascular wing by establishing a number of labs used to diagnose heart ailments. Cadigan earned his degree at Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Boston City Hospital before starting at Norwood Hospital in 1986. He directed a pacemaker clinic for many years during the 1990s, and helped open a new emergency room. Said Emily Holliman, the president of Norwood Hospital: “We owe Dr. Cadigan a debt of gratitude for the care he has given both to patients and colleagues over the years. He will be greatly missed by all of us.”
